Hello, thank you for joining me along my journey of becoming a Runner! I've always been an active guy, played sports in high school and continued into adult recreation sports after high school. As I started my family and found a career, the activity level slowly decreased. Well my Fiance had enough of our lazy ways and started on the Weight Watchers program and completely overhauled our daily meals. Step 2 was getting more active, so we decided to JOG our annual Juvenile Diabetes charity walk and actually enjoyed the activity. The month following the charity walk, we signed up for our first official 5K and had an absolute blast. From that point forward I have officially been BIT by the running bug and this is my journey to becoming a RUNNER!

Running in DC

I actually enjoyed doing the live blogging.  It was a lot of work taking the pictures, loading them to the blog, then updating what was going on...BUT...I thought it was pretty cool.

Last night I finally finished up editing my videos and merging them all together.  The video is five minutes long so I couldn't load it directly into the blog.  Here is the link, I hope you enjoy.

DC Run

  1. Great job with the video! I need a paved trail like that in my life ;)
You were on the east coast the most non- humid weekend ever! You missed the full effect humidity I am always whining about lol Maybe you were good luck, come back!

  2. Great video. A couple technical questions, in the beginning the image was bouncy, then it leveled out--what was the difference. Did you have a go pro on your hat?

  3. Awesome job on the video! I enjoyed the live blogging while you were in DC, too.

  4. I am really impressed with how little bounce you had in the video! Same question as Cheryl, did you wear your camera on your body someplace, or did you hold it with your hand?

Adam and I got a go pro a couple of months ago but we haven't used it yet! I want to take it out on a run but I'm worried the footage will be too bouncy!

Thank you for your comment!
